Engineering Work Experience

Manufacturing Engineer
Northrop Grumman Corporation
Greater Philadelphia Area
2017 – October 2020

Generate, control, and improve manufacturing systems and associated work instruction documentation IAW AS9100, ASME Y14.5. Host frequent requirement review sessions with internal team/OPS/customers to facilitate effective development, maintenance and delivery of program, customer and government requirements both in the office and on the manufacturing floor.

Lead a rushed batch of Harpoon rocket motors (due to catastrophic product flooding damages exceeding $1,000,000), to a net profit surpassing $400,000, and delivered the rocket boosters to the customer 4 months faster than quoted.

Develop and fabricate tooling, process documentation, and numerous safety presentations to leadership to support the safe disassembly and disposal of old energetics (most notable: a poorly documented, energetic cruise missile left over from developmental efforts in the 1970s with no tooling drawings/inventory remaining).

Organized the plant’s first electronic line/mix/cast energetic propellant batch (D5 FBMs). Achieved by scheduling and delivering frequent inter-departmental software training/support sessions (~30 new trainees), designing safety-compliant electronic building hardware solutions with OPS, and establishing software processes and standards to be later reflected in internal training and policies.
